4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Tour Uganda (Optional Fly) itinerary

Day 1 of the 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Tour Uganda (Optional Fly): Arrive/Entebbe airport – meet greet – transfer to the hotel, briefing and overnight

Arrive at the airport/our team will meet you, greet and transfer to the hotel for a briefing a communication introduction to the itinerary, have a free evening dinner and overnight. (Meal Plan on B/D)

Day 2: Entebbe – transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP/option for a charter flight-price not included

On this day, you will set off from Kampala at 7 am immediately after your breakfast for the 8 hours journey. Drive to the Southwestern part of Uganda to Bwindi Impenetrable NP.

This journey will be incredible as you will be seeing various things on the way such as banana and coffee plantations, long horned cattle, rolling hills.

You will have a stop in Mbarara town after which you will embark on the road through the terraced Kigezi highlands, later arrive at Bwindi impenetrable National Park which hosts a rich ecosystem of different living organisms which you will be viewing the next day. (Meal Plan on F/B)

 Day 3 of the 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Tour Uganda (Optional Fly): Bwindi Forest NP – Gorilla trekking – Community/experience

Start your day with a tasty breakfast and make sure you carry packed lunch from the lodge, also other materials you might need like cameras, sturdy shoes, drinking water, sun glasses, rain jackets, and a pair of long trousers.

Your guide will take you to the information center for briefing where you will meet with other trekkers before you start trekking at 8:00am.

After briefing, enter the mighty Bwindi forest as led by the Park rangers, who will take you to where the Gorillas can be located at that time.

The activity takes around 2 to 8 hours, this is because these gentle giants migrate and cannot be stationed in one place, and Gorillas move basing on the availability of food and water. Also remember that no skill is needed to track gorillas though one needs to be fit enough at least.

There is nothing as astonishing and thrilling as watching the silverbacks guard their bases, watch the females feed young ones, play, and grumble at each other among other things, you will take enough photos.

Return to the lodge after, in the evening if time is available you could also have a walk in the Batwa community and see how they live.

Only 1 hour is permitted to you to view the Gorillas. Trekking takes about 1 hour to 8 hours basing on the location of these gentle giants. After the trek, in the evening you could go for a guided nature walk or a community visit, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Gorilla tracking fee USD $700.00 Net,

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable NP – transfer Entebbe airport for departure/option for a charter flight by Aero link -price not included

Have an early breakfast, Check-out leaving the “Switzerland of Uganda” behind and start your journey back to Kampala passing through rolling hills with terraces and also you will have a great time viewing the lush vegetation of the different areas you will go through.

Have lunch in Mbarara, another stop will be at Mbambire drum makers point. After buying some of these drums, continue to Kampala arriving late afternoon. The guide will drop you off to the hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home. (Meal Plan on B/L)
