Detailed 8 Days Uganda Safari Savannah & Primates Safari

Day 1: Arrive – Entebbe Airport – meet/greet – transfer to Hotel -briefing – overnight

Arrive meet our representative/guide transfer to the hotel for briefing and an overnight. (Meal Plan on B/D)

Day 2: Entebbe/Kampala –Zziwa Rhino – Shoebill – transfer to Murchison Falls NP

Have a morning breakfast there after drive towards Murchison Falls national park, you will go through the Luwero triangle, stopover at the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary a home to various rhinos and also en route the rare Shoebill, lunch as you head to the Park. Check in at the lodge and relax in the evening. (Meal Plan on F/B)

Day 3 of the 8 Days Uganda Safari Savannah & Primates Safari: Murchison Fall NP – Game drive – afternoon boat cruise – hike to the Top of the Falls

In the morning have an early breakfast and proceed to the park for the game drive, you will be able to view various animals such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, giraffes, lions, and also different bird species among others.

After lunch go for a boat cruise during the afternoon on the Nile River,later proceed for a hike to the top of the falls where you will be in line to see the Nile and how it makes its way through the narrow gap, after meet your driver guide and drive back to the Lodge,have dinner and overnight. Day 4: Murchison Falls NP – Transfer to KibaleForest National Park – Bigodi wet land walk

On this day you will enjoy your early morning breakfast at your lodge, there after drive to Kibale national park. On your way you wouldn’t want to miss out on the beautiful countryside endowed with the Albertine escarpments so you will you will pass via Hoima to Fort portal.

Stopover for lunch in Fort Portal, after lunch continue to Kibale national park, which is one of Africa’s great rain-forests, this park is home to 13 primate species such as chimpanzees, red tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys and birds such as rumped tinker bird, the green breasted pitta, yellow spotted nicator and option to do the Bigodi swamp walk before you go for dinner and overnight. Day 5 of the 8 Days Uganda Safari Savannah & Primates Safari: Kibale Forest NP – Chimpanzee tracking -transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up early enough and have breakfast, after breakfast proceeds to the park headquarters with packed lunch from the lodge for the briefing about chimpanzee tracking.

Later, enter the amazing rain forest to look for the Chimpanzees, meeting them will be one of the most amazing experiences as you  enjoy watching them play around, feed young ones, and the males guarding the territories.

After that, enjoy your packed lunch in the wild, in the afternoon after tracking, later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, do an evening game drive before you check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Only 1 hour is permitted to you to view the chimpanzee. Trekking takes about 1hour to 6 hours basing on the location of these relatives of Man.  We will return for lunch and thereafter depart to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Chimpanzee tracking fee USD $200.00 Net in Kibale National Park,

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth NP- Game drive – Boat Cruise – transfer Bwindi impenetrable NP

An early morning game drive in the Kasenyi savannah plains to experience the wild with its flora ns fauna, return for breakfast, before you transfer for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, lunch and Set off for Bwindi impenetrable National park found in the Southwestern part of Uganda, and it’s renown for being a home to over 400 mountain gorillas.

On the way to the park you will see various animals, and amazing vegetation together with the local people along the road. You will as well enjoy lots of animal species along the way to the park arrive in the evening tocheck in for dinner and overnight. (Meal Plan on F/B)

Day 7 of the 8 Days Uganda Safari Savannah & Primates Safari: Bwindi Impenetrable NP – Gorilla trekking – Cultural Experience

Enjoy an early morning breakfast; later continue to the park headquarters for a briefing. After briefing, the rangers will guide you through the forest as you start your search for the Mountain gorillas.

Gorilla trekking is an amazing activity though can be tiring, it takes 2 to 8 hours. After trekking head back to the lodge for your lunch, later in the evening you could opt for relaxing at the lodge or visit the Batwa community to have fun as you enjoy their cultural dances.

Only 1 hour is permitted to you to view the Gorillas. Trekking takes about 1hour to 8 hours basing on the location of these gentle giants. After the trek, in the evening you could go for a guided nature walk or a community visit, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Gorilla tracking fee USD $700.00 Net,

Day 8: Bwindi Impenetrable NP – transfer Entebbe – Airportdepart.
