Gorilla Trekking Safari in Uganda includes a double gorilla experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park located in Southwestern Uganda approximately 450 km from Kampala.
During this safari you will be able to visit two different gorilla families; hence your accommodation facilities might vary based on the sector where you will be trekking gorillas from.

Detailed 5 Days Double Gorilla Trekking Safari Uganda
Day 1: Arrive/Entebbe airport – meet greet – transfer to the hotel – briefing – overnight
Arrive at the airport/our team will meet you, greet and transfer to the hotel for a briefing a communication introduction to the itinerary, have a free evening dinner and overnight. (Meal Plan on B/D)

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national Park – (optional charter flight by Aero Link)
Breakfast; meet your guide to embark on the approximately 8 hour drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest. Along the way you will stop at the equator to take photographs and purchase some crafts, continue and have lunch in Mbarara.
After lunch you will proceed with your journey as you will go through the beautiful scenery, rolling hills with terraces as you arrive in Kabale also called the Switzerland of Africa. Have dinner and overnight. (Meal Plan on F/B)

5 Days Double Gorilla Trekking Safari Uganda
Day 3 of the 5 Days Double Gorilla Trekking Safari Uganda: First day of Gorilla tracking and community visit -Bwindi
Enjoy your breakfast and set out from your lodge with packed lunch as you head to the park headquarters at 7:00 am for briefing before you embark on Gorilla tracking in the thick mist Bwindi forest. Thereafter proceed for tracking which takes about between 2 to 6 hours mainly dependent on how far the gorillas go.
Trekkers are allowed to spend one hour with the gentle giants in this time you could watch them play, feed, and take enough photos. Later return back to the lodge, relax for some time and after go for a community walk in the Batwa community during the evening, enjoy dinner & overnight.
Only 1 hour is permitted to you to view the Gorillas. Trekking takes about 1 hour to 8 hours basing on the location of these gentle giants. After the trek, in the evening you could go for a guided nature walk or a community visit, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Gorilla tracking fee USD $700.00 Net,

Day 4: Second day of Gorilla tracking in Bwindi – optional -transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Before embarking on gorilla tracking, wake up early enough and have breakfast, carry packed lunch from the lodge, you will follow the same procedure used as that on the first day though, you will follow another gorilla group different from what you tracked the previous day. After the day’s activity you will have a free evening or do a community activity
Only 1 hour is permitted to you to view the Gorillas. Trekking takes about 1 hour to 8 hours basing on the location of these gentle giants.
After the trek, in the evening you could go for a guided nature walk or a community visit, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Gorilla tracking fee USD $700.00 Net,

Day 5 of the 5 Days Double Gorilla Trekking Safari Uganda: Bwindi Impenetrable NP – transfer to Entebbe airport for departure
Enjoy a delicious morning breakfast, and set out for a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi where you will go around various islands with sights of terraced hills, birds, and alike.
Thereafter start off your journey to Kampala having lunch en-route reaching late the evening. Your guide will take you to your Kampala hotel or transfer you to the airport for your flight. (Meal Plan on Breakfast and Lunch)

Overnight stay options:
If staying in Entebbe, please request assistance at the time of booking this safari to allow us ample time to make arrangements. If departing Entebbe the same night, please note’ both by use of charter flight or by road’ returns to Entebbe are always late morning (approximately 11h.00/12h00-by charter flight) or (approximately 16h30-road), please DO NOT book flights departing prior to 16h00 or 22h00 respectively in order to allow time for security, check in and if any delays due to weather.
