8 Days Best Kenya Wildlife Adventure Safari: Details:

Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi – Meet greet & briefing – Transfer to Maasai Mara National Park – game & O/nt.  

An early arrival/meet greet, and begin your journey from Nairobi, the “place of cool waters” in Maasai language.

Head to Maasai Mara Game Reserve which is Kenya’s best game viewing spot due to the nature and concentration of wild animals.

Our lunch will be at Ilkeliani Tented Camp which is patched on a river glade in an area where elephants love to come and drink from the Talek River.

After a warm welcome and delightful lunch, we will embark on a game drive with our driver guide in Maasai Mara, the ancestral home to the Maasai people, dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2: Early start – Full day activities – game drive and Culture –  Maasai Mara – overnight

Maasai Mara Game Reserve

This day you will enjoy game drives in the Mara that will include a visit to the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeest and zebra are attacked by crocodiles as they attempt to cross this mighty river during the annual migration between Tanzania and Kenya.

The annual migration sees over a million wild animals moving from Serengeti National Park in Northern Tanzania to Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

A chance to meet the traditional Maasai people, interactions and cultural exposure is very evident. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3 of the 8 Days Best Kenya Wildlife Adventure Safari: Early morning start – transfer to – Lake Nakuru National Park – Full day activities – Dinner & over night 

Maasai Mara/Lake Nakuru National Park

An early breakfast followed by a sun rise drive to the picturesque Great Rift Valley arriving in time for lunch at Flamingo Hill Camp located at the entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park which is home to an incredible variety of bird species.

This afternoon you will enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Here you will get to see plenty of wildlife including all the famed “Big 5”. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 4: Early start – transfer to – Amboseli National Park – Evening game activities – overnight

Breakfast at leisure, depart for Amboseli National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Kibo Safari camp which enjoys a uniquely privileged position at the heart of this world-famous national reserve providing very clear and uninterrupted views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Later in afternoon, you will head out for a game drive and return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 5 of the 8 Days Best Kenya Wildlife Adventure Safari: Early start – game – Amboseli – Full day game Activities – overnight

This day is reserved for a comprehensive game expedition as you take cool drives in this magnificent national park located at the foot of Africa’s tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli comprises of groves of acacia trees and golden savanna plains. Close by are a series of emerald green swamps, which are fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro providing sources of water to huge numbers of wallowing elephants, hippos, buffaloes and plains game. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 6: Early start – breakfast – Taita Hills– Lunch/Dinner – overnight 

An early breakfast, then depart for Tsavo West National Park in search for more wildlife experience that will include a visit to Mzima Springs.

Tsavo West National Park supports all the members of the variety of animal and bird species including the country’s largest elephant population.

Mzima Springs comprises of four natural springs and is one of Tsavo’s most popular wildlife attractions owing to its resident populations of hippos and Nile crocodiles and numerous bird species.

Later drive to Taita Hills arriving at Sarova Salt Lick Lodge late in the afternoon for dinner and overnight game viewing experience at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge.

Day 7 of the 8 Days Best Kenya Wildlife Adventure Safari: Early start Game – transfer to Tsavo East National Park – Evening game activities – overnight

An early game drive in Taita Hills Private Wildlife Sanctuary to explorer the spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.

Breakfast and drive to Tsavo East National Park arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on game drive in Tsavo East, Kenya’s largest national park and a terrific wildlife-watching destination.

Although one of Kenya’s largest rivers flows through the middle of the park, the landscape here is more flat and drier as it lies of the lee ward side of mountain Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 8: Breakfast, start off for Nairobi (City), depending on your time of departure, you will have a city highlights – Drop off to the Airport for departure on time.

Tsavo East/Mombasa or Nairobi by Express Train

Early breakfast at the lodge. You will enjoy whole morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park and explore untouched wilderness which is home to a big variety of wildlife.

After lunch, you will be dropped at VOI Train Station for the Express SGR train journey back to Nairobi arriving in the evening.

You will be picked from SGR Train Station and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta Int. airport for your departure flight.

If departing Nairobi the same night, please note’ both by use of charter flight or by road’ returns to Nairobi are always late morning (approximately 11h.00/12h00-by charter flight) or (approximately 16h00-road), please DO NOT book flights departing prior to 16h00 or 22h00 respectively in order to allow time for security, check in and if any delays due to weather.
